Each 1-on-1 tutorial is 1 hour in duration.

Initial Consultation: $100.00 (1-hour)
Year 11 HSC Chemistry/Physics: $100.00 per hour
Year 12 HSC Chemistry/Physics: $120.00 per hour

Unfortunately, we only offer online tutoring via Zoom.

We do not offer group tutoring. All our tutorials are 1-on-1.

We do not offer free trials for 1-on-1 tutorials. However, you can schedule one tutorial with us before paying for the term. The first lesson (initial consult) is 1-hour in duration and costs $100.00

During the first 1-on-1 tutorial, we aim to get to know you better including your:
– past academic performance
– specific difficulties you have encountered in the past
– academic goals
– study habits and motivation
– future career aspirations

From this information, we will develop and personalised plan to help you achieve your goals.

Prior to the initial consultation, we ask you, the student, to tell us 1-2 topics/concepts you find difficult. We will spend part of the tutorial to explain and help you better understand these topics so you can see whether our teaching approach and ways of explaining are suitable for you. 

Yes, the flexible nature of online 1-on-1 tutoring is that it is easy to reschedule during school holidays.

Students will have access to
– all Science Ready resources listed on our website
– school assessments and exam papers (2019-2023)
– customised practice questions specific to their needs

For 1-on-1 tutoring, lessons are paid via direct deposit. You can pay either in instalments of 5 or 10 weeks (see 'Can I get a discount').

The following discounts apply
– 5% discount for prepayment of 10 tutorials

If you enrol in both chemistry and physics programs, we provide a further 5% discount (in addition to above).

1-on-1 tutorials are completely flexible, and are tailored to the academic need, goal and learning pace of each student. 

While most student benefit the most from regular weekly tutorials, some students will improve equally as much with less frequent tutorials. A more accurate assessment will be made during the first tutorial (initial consultation).

As long as you provide us with at least a 24 hours notice prior to a scheduled tutorial, you will not be charged and an alternative time will be rescheduled to make up the missed tutorial.
